Beltaine 2010 and Merry MayDay!

Blackberry Circle is holding an open ritual for Beltaine. We invite you to join us for an evening of mayhem, er... ritual and suchlike. This is an open ritual, but as some of the themes may be adult, we ask that only persons 18 and older attend.
But wait! That's not all! For only $19.95 you get... oh,wait. Sorry, wrong channel. But that is in fact NOT all; there's lots more.
The Finding the Light Within family coven is presenting an event for earlier in the day (May 1st). The Merry Mayday Festival is a fun get together for people wishing to enjoy spring. Blackberry Circle is hosting the event. It will be from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. The Beltaine ritual follows at 7:00pm.
This is the second year that Finding the Light Within has organized this event and the first year Blackberry is hosting it. There will be games, May Royalty voting, prizes and much, much more.
This will be a full afternoon of fun and play, followed by a kick-ass open ritual. Be there, or forever hold your piece and never get laid again!

Blackberry Circle will celebrate Ostara this March 20th at 7:30pm at the Covenstead.
This minor Sabbat ritual is open to the public. We hope to make many new friends and to welcome all our old friends.
As always, please remember to bring a lawn chair and something for our potluck dinner.

Help Us Welcome The Birth of the Sun

Blackberry Circle will be celebrating the birth of the Sun with a sunrise ritual on December 19th, 2009. Beginning abotu 06:30 AM. Yup, we will also be honouring the Goddess Caffeinea in mass quantities. Sunrise is scheduled for 07:13 that morning so we must be in place when it arrives.

Samhain Celebration 2009

Look Who's Coming to Dinner
There will be an open ritual at Blackberry Circle On November 7th, 2009, with festivities beginning at 7:30 PM.
Samhain is the time to celebrate the passing of our loved ones. No, not celebrate that they are gone (even though we may want them gone), but a celebration of their life. With this in mind we are having a "Look Who's Coming to Dinner" celebration.

Mabon/Autumnal Equinox Celebration 2009

The Mabon celebration was a lot of fun, even though most of the coven was at the stone circle consecration at Sherwood Forest Faire. Catherine and Jon lead the mroe traditional Mabon ritual which included a story of how the seasons came to be. There were actually a few tears shed during the story.
We had all new people at this ritual with 15 in attendance. More than one third of those who attended drove for an hour or more to take part in the ritual. There were a lot of wonderful conversations and even a few well thought-out debates.
