Join Blackberry Circle this Saturday, 10 August 2019 for a celebration of the first harvest of the year, Lughnassadh, AKA Lammas. Arrival time is about 6:00 PM and ritual will be held about 7:30(ish) or as soon as the High Priestess arrives from hell (work).
This year we will celebrate this hot friggin time of year with a Texas Redneck Tailgate Beach Party. Yeah, so we are an hour and half away from the beach but if you listen very, very carefully you still will not hear the waves or seagulls, but we can definitely include the heat!
A potluck feast will follow, so bring something you would like to share with others.
A raffle and some sales will also be available after the ritual to help raise funds to support the public rituals. We usually have some pretty neat stuff, so bring cash if you would like to take part in the raffle.
In short, bring:
- A camping or lawn chair to rest your weary arse in;
- Food you would like to share with others for the pot luck;
- Money for the raffle/auction;
- A sense of humour.
PLEASE DO NOT bring your fur children. Furless semi-human ones are always welcome at BBC unless otherwise specified.
OUTSIDE EVENT WARNING
Blackberry Circle rituals are an outside event, and as such there is a possibility that you may come in contact with various critters that range from irritating to plain evil. In addition, the land is not concrete smooth by any means and there may be holes, roots, or other impediments out there.
